Our 2019 review: pioneering and scaling financing for solar + storage

The end of the decade gives us a chance to reflect. SunFunder has now financed 50 solar companies and unlocked $135m for distributed solar in Africa and other emerging regions. But the imperative of solving climate change and energy access couldn't be greater.

In our 2019 review, we highlight our Solar Energy Transformation (SET) Fund, our first transaction in Nigeria with Daystar Power, displacing diesel with C&I solar and the extraordinary impact of our long-term borrower d.light - as well as the diverse team SunFunder has built to help drive this transformation over the coming decade.
