Receiving the award at BNEF’s Future of Energy Summit in New York today, SunFunder CEO Ryan Levinson commented:

SunFunder has financed more beyond grid solar companies than any other institution, and will this year offer investors $80 million of new diversified fixed income opportunities in the sector.
Bloomberg describes the winners, chosen from over 170 applicants, as “game-changing innovators that are revolutionizing the energy sector”. A panel of industry experts judged the winners on three key criteria: potential scale, innovation and momentum.
