Annual Review: the decade to rise to the climate emergency

Updated: Dec 2, 2021

A large part of the last year was given to new challenges brought about by the pandemic. But we stayed on course for our investment targets and closing the SET Fund. However, we believe real adaptation to this crisis means a green recovery is essential, building back better than the old normal.

Highlights included leading an $11m syndicate for solar irrigation pioneer SunCulture and smart structuring to finance the solarization of telco towers in the Central African Republic for CREI, which took us to over $140m+ closed for emerging market solar through direct investments and syndications.

As our founders Audrey Desiderato and Ryan Levinson say in their reflection on the past year:

We are proud of what we have achieved but, simply, it is not enough. This is the decade we must all rise to the climate emergency. This will bring new opportunities and new partnerships. Our work is only just beginning.
